The puppets for this story are all just seven inches tall, and the action mostly takes place inside a big wooden dollhouse. The Powells not only move the puppets, but they play the role of the housekeeper and the gardener, and they do their best to make sure the “princess” who has dropped by cannot sleep a wink. Fact is, she’s not a princess at all, but.... oh that would be telling! Plenty of romance, for sure, but the strong prince and his world travels, plus the intricacy of the dollhouse entrances children with a variety of interests and temperaments.
